The Apovent Range is manufactured under licence from Piller GmbH and features high-efficiency backward-curved impellers for exceptional aerodynamic performance. With flow rates up to 126,000 m³/h and static pressures to 20 kPa, the Apovent covers the most demanding large-scale ventilation and process air duties. Available in direct drive, belt drive, or coupling drive configurations, the range offers significant design flexibility. The backward-curved blade profile delivers high efficiency, low noise, and a non-overloading power characteristic across the performance envelope.
Backward-curved blades accelerate and direct airflow with minimal turbulence, achieving higher aerodynamic efficiency than radial or forward-curved alternatives. This translates into lower energy consumption and reduced operating costs — particularly significant at the large flow rates the Apovent handles.
The Apovent is available in direct drive (motor directly coupled to the impeller shaft), belt drive (allowing speed adjustment via pulley selection), and coupling drive (rigid or flexible shaft coupling for alignment-sensitive installations), giving engineers maximum flexibility in system design.
With capacity up to 126,000 m³/h and 20 kPa, the Apovent is suited to large-scale industrial ventilation, tunnel ventilation, power station cooling air, major HVAC plant, and high-pressure process air systems where both performance and efficiency at scale are critical.
